A Closer Look
The Delta Max White Edition comes packed in a sleek black box accented with beams of colour and a shot of the Delta Max White featured front and center. The bottom of the box contains badges of all the compatible lighting software which includes Polychrome, RGB Fusion, and Aura Sync, just to name a few.
Once the Delta Max has been removed from the package, the first thing that catches your eye is how bright white the unit is. Like the Black Edition, TeamGroup maintained their subtle branding with a faint T-Force logo in the center and “Delta Max” writing in the lower right corner.
Flipping over the Delta Max reveals its warranty sticker, which has the serial number and mentions the Delta Max’s 3-year warranty.
Looking to the side, we find the SATA data and power ports as well as a USB Micro B port. The Micro B port can be used for either the Micro B to 5V ARGB/USB 10 pin cable which is included with the Delta Max.
In addition to the Delta Max itself and the cables mentioned above, it also includes a warranty guide and T-Force case badge.
Once the Delta Max was installed on our test bench, the front RGB display lit up with bright blue, which matched the other configured RGB components. We liked that the White Edition had a translucent feel on the edges as opposed to the Black Edition which had a hard line between the body and display.
Opening RGB Fusion we set the color mode to “Color Cycle” giving us a cool pastel rainbow look.
