Final Thoughts and Conclusion

Being a PC modder at heart. I am always looking for ways to highlight each component in my build. With the Delta MAX SSD TeamGroup has made it easy with its stellar RGB top. The mirror finish not only looks amazing when powered on but also has a sleek elegant look with your PC is turned off. You can now be proud of showing off your SSD front and center of your build.

The Delta MAX doesn’t just have it looks going for it, it also performed great in all our benchmarks. Our model of the Delta MAX has a rated read speed of 560 MB/s and a write speed of 510 MB/s which was easily achieved in the CrystalDiskMark benchmark. This is exactly where we would like to see an SSD perform and it’s nice to see that the Delta MAX hasn’t sacrificed speed for aesthetics.

The only difference with the Delta MAX over other SSD’s apart from its looks is we found it ran about 15-20c warmer than a typical SSD. This temperature difference is attributed to the front RGB LEDs which seem to put out a little heat as its even warm to the touch. This isn’t a negative as the drive is still well within its operating specifications but something we wanted to mention

Overall TeamGroup has done something innovative with the Delta MAX aesthetics and has raised to the bar on how an SSD should look. Excellent work TeamGroup and I can’t wait to see what you bring next to your next line of SSD’s
