Silicon Power may not pop to the top of your mental list when you think of your next memory upgrade, but maybe it should. The XPOWER Turbine RGB memory can easily hold its own against more established gaming memory brands you may be more familiar with. We found the performance to be right in line with similar speed kits, but the price is a bit lower. Our particular configuration of 2x16GB at 3600MHz can be found on the street for about $168 at the time of writing, with similarly spec’ed kits ranging from $175 to $200. Once you figure in the sleek finish, air-cooling friendly lower profile heat spreaders, and rich lighting effect, Silicon Power makes a compelling argument for trying something new.
