A Closer Look
The Lexar Professional Silver Series MicroSD card comes on a blister card with an included SD adapter. The capacity is noted in the top corner and the ratings and speed are along the bottom.
The back has a few features listed but is mostly fine print about the speeds in several languages.
There isn’t much to see on the memory card itself. It’s stamped with the capacity and the various ratings, but if you’ve seen one MicroSD card, you’ve pretty well seen them all.
To test the raw speeds, Lexar also sent over their 2-in-1 Multi-Card reader which utilizes USB 3.1 for rapid transfer of your content.
The card reader is pretty small but has a texture similar to a golf ball around the outside of the front. A blue LED for power/activity sits between the USB plug and the Lexar logo.
The drive adapter can handle MicroSD directly and regular SD cards.
The card slots are entirely independent, you can install two memory cards and use them both independently at the same time if you need.
