A Closer Look

Like most laptop memory, there isn’t much to look at. The Box is a two-tone white and grey with a window you can see the label on. The speed and capacity are indicated on the outside.

The rear has basic specs listed.

Inside, a plastic tray and clear cover protect the module.

The modules themselves are a nice black PCB. You’re probably not going to see it outside of initial installation in most applications, the black PCB sure does look nice vs green.

There are DRAM chips on each side of the module, for a total of eight on these 8GB modules.
