Gigabyte G34WQC 34” 144Hz Curved Gaming Monitor Review

Spread out over 34 inches, the curved ultra-wide screen 3440×1440 resolution provides deep immersion with 30% more viewing area than traditional 16:9 monitors. Gigabyte uses a VA panel in the G34WQC which offers superior contrast ratios, great color reproduction, and viewing angles similar to IPS but with response times more in line with TN panels. It even supports HDR400, FreeSync Premium (Which is G-sync compatible by the way), and Adaptive sync so even your modern consoles can benefit from variable refresh rates.

Gigabyte also has a few gaming-oriented tricks up its sleeve with features like Aim Stabilizer which reduces motion blur so you can keep your aim on track even in high motion battles. Black Equalizer boosts lighting in dark areas of games, but without washing out lighter areas like turning up gamma tends to do. Flicker-free backlighting and low blue light modes prevent eye strain and fatigue and a highly adjustable ergonomic stand means you can get the perfect viewing angle in any scenario.
