Cougar Dualblader Gaming Mouse Review
Fully Customizable Gaming Mouse With Ambidextrous Ergonomics
A Closer Look
Helping it glide along surfaces are the nine PTFE feet. The feet glide effortlessly along any of my test surfaces and are high enough the body does not cause interference.
The new Dynastrut design makes this mouse great for palm and claw players. I can adjust the center height and the angle and height of the rear of the mouse. This is where this mouse really shines. It is everything, it can be any shape you like, a high or low profile mouse. In terms of hand fit, it is probably one of the best fitting mice you can get.
As an avid wireless mouse user, the Dualblader presents no difference between the two in feel. The Ultraflex cable is very soft and flexible and glides over surfaces. The only reason I know it is wired is because I can see it, I do not feel it. The cable is 6ft and was more than enough cable for me with gold-plated connectors on both ends.
The buttons have a really solid premium feel and, in this model, you have 12 buttons that you can program to different binds or macros through the software. All of the buttons have a solid actuation point and feel very high quality.
Does customization mean maybe you don’t want to run all 12 buttons? This is how my daily productivity driver is set up, I am using the main mouse buttons and the forward/backward buttons on the left side. This type of setup sheds a lot of weight and gets it closer to feeling like those lightweight mice.
